The 2018 Geelong Chess Club Championship was a five-round Round Robin Event (“all play all”) between the top six qualifiers from the Qualifier Tournament.
Alistair Anderson and Michael Sugrue tied for first place, on 4 points out of 5.
In line with the Tournament Rules, they played a two-game tiebreaker, which Sugrue won to become the 2018 Club Champion.
The Reserve Championship was also played during this time, jointly won by Paul Brown and Jack Smith.
