The 2017 Geelong Chess Club Championship Qualifying Tournament was originally scheduled to commence on Thursday, 1st June, 2017.
The event was to be a five-round Swiss Tournament, with players competing for either Open or Reserve Grade ranking in the 2017 Club Championship. The first six placings were to qualify for Open ranking.
The Qualifying Tournament was cancelled in favour of a Round Robin (“all play all”) Tournament – please see the 2017 Club Championship Tournament Page for details.
