Junior player Connor Liu is the 2017 Ten Minute Champion.
He has made remarkable progress since last April, when he came fourth in the Ten Minute Handicap playing with a large favourable handicap. In the latest event he defeated on equal terms the previous title holder Reza Daneshvar and also current joint club champion Geoff Barber whom he had lost to in the handicap event despite having a 16 to 4 minute advantage.
