International Master James Morris has won the 2017 Best in the West Chess Tournament with a perfect score of 5/5 against a strong field of 85 competitors.
Geelong was well represented with joint club champion Geoff Barber finishing equal 9th on 3.5, Reza Daneshvar and Geoffrey Gill on 3, and Jack Smith 2 points.
