The 2016 Spring Rapid Tournament saw Reza Daneshvar achieve victory from a seemingly lost position against Geoff Davis in the last round, to tie overall with Michael Sugrue. Daneshvar and Sugrue shared first place on 5/6, with Zoran Babic outright third on 4/6.
