Current “long play” Club Champions, Zoran Babic and Michael Sugrue, took out first and second places overall in a seven round lightning tournament held at the Geelong Chess Club on Friday, 8th April, 2016. The club welcomed newcomers Toby Mew and Stuart Cuxson; and returning player Chris Ashworth, all of whom scored victories against strong competition.
